Multi-platinum alternative rock band NOTHING MORE have fired one of their road crew after a concerning post was publicly shared by a woman who recently attended one of the band’s shows. That woman, Morgan Dunbar, shared this post over the weekend, expressing her concerns of a hazy night spent with a crew member employed by the band. She alleges that a night of drinks and a trip backstage found her waking up incapacitated on the floor of a bathroom at the venue, with little concern exerted by other individuals in attendance.
She indicated that while she is unclear of the details of the night, she partook in several alcoholic beverages and is certain that ‘sexual contact occurred.’ Per her post, she sought a toxicology screening which did not indicate the presence of any foreign substances. She also claimed in this follow-up post, that she has since initiated an investigation into the matter with local authorities, but as of yet no charges have been filed. She further went on to say that she has also underwent a sexual assault forensic examination and is awaiting the results.
NOTHING MORE have since addressed the matter, issuing the below statement, revealing they have terminated the staff member in question in light of the allegations:
“Yesterday we were made aware of accusations about one of our crew members. While we weren’t present at the incident in question, having a safe work environment is something we take very seriously. The crew member has been fired and we will cooperate fully with any investigation.”
