Multi-platinum Swedish occult rockers Ghost have just released the 23rd chapter of their long-running web series. That undertaking continues to flesh out the backstory of the so-called ‘clergy’ that operates behind the band. The latest episode clocks in at over 8 minutes and is titled ‘Frater Gets A Visit‘. In it, the band’s Frater Imperator, (aka Papa Emeritus IV and Cardinal Copia) is reunited with his deceased mother.
It’s a long and tangled web by now, but Frater Imperator was demoted to an administrative role in the clergy amid the cycle for the band’s latest hit record, “Skeletá“. His fraternal twin brother Papa V Perpetua went on to succeed him in fronting Ghost.
