With Slipknot sitting out the latest ‘Knotfest Mexico‘ last night (December 06th) at the Estadio Fray Nano in Mexico City, Mexico, divisive shock rocker Marilyn Manson was booked to headline. Meanwhile, multi-platinum alternative metal outfit Falling In Reverse were the penultimate band on the bill.
Given the close proximity of the two parties, last night served as the live debut for the aforementioned two artists’ collaborative track “God Is A Weapon” — at least as it was originally recorded and released. While that song has made it into Falling In Reverse‘s setlist numerous times, this is the first time Manson was present to reprise his role in-person.
The guest appearances didn’t stop there however, as the inclusion of Russian deathcore outfit Slaughter To Prevail on the bill also saw their frontman Alex Terrible hop onstage for his part on Falling In Reverse‘s “Ronald” last night.
