Californian deathcore unit Spite brought in some backup from Matt McDougal, vocalist of metalcore outfit Boundaries, on a new track titled “Looking Glass“. A visualizer for that song was just put up tonight, October 16th, roughly two weeks ahead of the Halloween release date Spite have set for their next studio album, “New World Killer“.
Vocalist Darius Tehrani channeled the loss of a parent into the track, revealing the following of its lyrical origins:
“This song is about coping with the passing of my father. Being robbed of grief and carrying an anger with nowhere to go. I’m grateful Matt McDougal was able to sing on such an important song with me.”
