A man dressed as Ronald McDonald attending the annual ‘Aftershock Festival‘ in Sacramento, CA earlier this month was apparently detained and removed from the festival grounds after allegedly groping and fondling female audience members. The incident was said to have occurred during the final day of the festival, October 05th. The individual was arrested by members of the Sacramento, CA police department in attendance, with footage available below of him being detained and escorted out of the audience during Story Of The Year‘s set.
An individual made this anonymous post regarding the alleged incident on a Facebook group for the festival, urging potential victims to come forward against him. That post read as follows:
“P.S.A.
Day 4 of Aftershock Festival (Sunday Oct. 5th) at approximately 2:30pm Ronald McDonald was Detained by the Sacramento Police Department. It was brought to Security’s attention by multiple people that this male pictured, dressed as Ronald McDonald, was observed groping, inappropriately touching, and attempting to/inserting his hands/fingers into female body surfers at the main stage (Aftershock Stage). Security immediately alerted Police.
The Sacramento Police Department spotted and found him relatively quick. Not like he could really dissappear or blend in with the crowd, lol. He was Detained,, and escorted from the crowd. Unfortunately due to not having any victims at the time, (just reports by people who saw this happen), all they could do was eject him from the festival, cut off his wristband, trespass (86) him, and release him. They made a report and have his information though. So if anyone does come forward and file a complaint he can then be arrested and charged.
If anyone knows anyone that was, or believes they were sexually assaulted, violated, touched, while crowd surfing, or even just in the crowd, PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE contact the Sacramento Police Department . Don’t be scared, feel embarrassed, feel ashamed, or anything else. Come forward so this guy ca be arrested and charged. Don’t let him get away with it.”
