Attila vocalist Chris Fronzak recently called out the efficacy of popular YouTuber, philanthropist, entrepreneur, etc. MrBeast‘s 2023 philanthropic efforts for clean water in Africa in response to MrBeast‘s new ‘TeamWater’ initiative. That latter imitative is setting out to raise $40 million USD via teamwater.org, uniting various content creators in a bid to help get the message out.
Fronzak got involved in the matter yesterday, August 04th, with his below comment on MrBeast‘s post announcing the launch of the ‘TeamWater’ initiative. Fronzak questioned whether or not past efforts made by MrBeast remain functional after rumors of lack of proper maintenance putting the wells into disrepair. Fronzak stated:
“I see a lot of discourse about this, but NO ONE is mentioning the fact that Mr. Beast went to Africa & built 100 wells in 2023 & they all failed 1 year later due to lack of maintenance. I believe everyone should always help other people, but this idea already failed?”
Fronzak‘s post generated a direct reply from MrBeast himself, which stated:
“That’s literally a flat out lie. We recently had the 100 wells audited because of these false rumors (which erodes trust in philanthropic efforts and is not cool) and the wells are working…”
Fronzak responded back this morning (August 05th) with the following:
“Okay! Send me the audit that shows that ALL 100 wells are still working today and I’ll send $5,000 to your new water project.”
