Attila are the latest Western metal artist to opt to tour Russia. The metalcore group will be heading overseas for a run across the county this September, hitting the following cities:
09/12 Moscow, RUS – VK Stadium
09/13 St. Petersburg, RUS – Sound
09/14 Nizhny Novgorod, RUS – Milo Concert Hall
09/16 Yekaterinburg, RUS – Fabrika
The decision to play shows in Russia still remains a controversial one, with many international artists having ceased touring activities in the region in response to Russia’s ongoing invasion of Ukraine. Divisive metalcore outfit As I Lay Dying are one of the few artists to have toured the region in recent years
Latin nü-metallers Ill Niño were set to tour the country this year, but canceled their plans this past July, citing a “family medical emergency” and concerns over escalating war tensions”.
