Converge‘s spring touring earlier this month found the band testing the waters on two new songs from their as-yet unreleased new album. Among them was the track “W.W.N.T.S.“, and another titled “Doom In Bloom“. Fan-filmed footage of the latter being played at the Bottom Lounge in Chicago, IL on May 11th has now surfaced online below. The featured performance of it was apparently being the second time the song was aired live by the band overall.
The influential metalcore outfit hit the studio earlier this year to begin laying down their long-awaited new album, having gone in armed with some 27 song ideas. There’s no word yet on a release date, but further live performances planned for the year at the moment include:
