Swedish metalcore quintet Adept have returned with new music after a nearly nine year drought. Below you stream their comeback outing, “Heaven“. With ‘more exciting news to come’, the band’s vocalist Robert Ljung had the following to share about this new single:

“‘Heaven‘ is a dark and emotional song about carrying old scars into the present and learning how to face them. It’s built around heavy riffs, a massive chorus, and a lot of raw emotion. Lyrically, it’s about holding on to unresolved parts of your past but also about finding the strength to face them and move forward.”

While the video is now available, the song itself is expected to land on digital service providers tomorrow, May 13th. Henrik Udd (Architects, Bring Me The Horizon) produced and mixed this new single. The band’s current live plans include:

06/14 Nickelsdorf, AUT – Nova Rock
06/15 Hradec Kralove, CZE – Rock For People
06/26 Stockholm, SWE – Broken Summer Fest
08/15 Dinkelsbuhl, GER – Summer Breeze Open
08/16 Cudrefin, SWI – Rock The Lakes
