Attack Attack! look to be teasing a somewhat unique PR stunt with some new material. In a since-deleted video shared yesterday, May 01st, the band’s drummer Andrew Wetzel implied that he had taken the reins in the band and would now be fronting it. He went so far as to indicate that he had recorded the group’s first new album since 2012’s “This Means War” on his own. More than a few of the band’s fans felt the video seemed a bit forced and questioned if it was just some viral marketing however.
A video released today, May 02nd, may have confirmed their suspicions, as it finds Wetzel promoting a new ‘country’ single dubbed “Dance!” which the band intend to release on May 09th. There’s also seemingly an indication that Lorna Shore‘s Will Ramos will be involved in the track. There’s a number to call in the video for more info and word that the crabcore band’s next album “Self Titled II” will be out on August 08th.
