GRAMMY Award-winning multi-platinum hard rockers Halestorm will have their new album “Everest” out on August 08th through Atlantic Records. Word of the effort’s release follows last week’s debut of the album’s first single, “Darkness Always Wins“. Recording sessions for this new opus took place with Dave Cobb (Brandi Carlile, Chris Stapleton).
Weighing in on the title and what fans can expect from the outing, vocalist/guitarist Lzzy Hale offered:
“Our album Everest is a story of our journey as a band, full of beautiful endings and new beginnings. We weave a tangled web of melancholy, frustration, anger and the vast purgatory of love and love lost. It is a rollercoaster of epic musical detours, great songwriting and completely unhinged twists and turns. Everest is an auditory representation of the 4 pillars of Halestorm. Let us reintroduce ourselves and invite you into our world…if you dare.”
Extensive touring is on deck for the record at the moment, including a new round of North American, European and UK dates this fall dubbed ‘The nEverest Tour‘. Lindsey Stirling and Apocalyptica will open the North American leg.
Bloodywood will be direct support on the European and UK stops, while Kelsy Karter & The Heroines will also join up on the UK leg as openers. Most stops for this newly announced leg will be on sale this Friday, May 02nd.
