Estonian metalcore group Pridian have put up a music video for their new single “Endless“. You can expect to find that song on the band’s debut album “Venetian Dark“, due out May 16th on Century Media Records. Vocalist Laur Lindmäe took the time to elaborate on the meaning behind this latest cut as follows:
“There’s something about the way they look at me now. Like I’m a symbol of something I never agreed to. A shape. A signal. A convincing surface. I’ve kept quiet long enough for them to mistake that for agreement. I’ve stood in their ceremonies, watched them raise empty words like banners. I echo their language without saying anything of my own. Not because I believe, but because it’s easier than being exposed.
They don’t want truth. They want symmetry. Clean lines. No noise. I can still feel – The thing they’ve forgotten how to name. And I know they see it flicker in me, even if they don’t understand it. Maybe that’s why they keep me close. Maybe that’s what they’re afraid of. Society moves like a machine: polished, efficient, and emotionally numb. It performs belief but doesn’t feel it. It repeats the shape of meaning, but not the soul of it.”
