Loathe opened their set at the South Side Ballroom in Dallas, TX last night, April 03rd, with the live debut of a new track. This an entirely welcome development for long-suffering fans of the promising British alternative metal band, whose last album “The Things They Believe” arrived back in February of 2021.
The title of this as-yet unreleased new track doesn’t appear to have been shared. The group both soundchecked and eventually debuted that new cut live, with fan-filmed footage available below. Loathe‘s fourth studio album has seemingly been a complicated affair, with the band having scrapped some 2022 touring to focus on it, with little word of it having been shared since.
For now, it would seem that fans catching the band live in the immediate future will have the chance to experience the song nightly, as the group just kicked off their spring North American tour as direct support to Spiritbox. Dying Wish are opening that run, which is set to unfold as follows:
