This week looks set to find Converge entering the studio to record their follow-up to 2017’s “The Dusk In Us“. Jacob Bannon, vocalist for the influential metalcore mavens, has taken to sharing his thoughts on that process via a newly launched Substack which you can find find at this location.
Considering the gap between records (a 2021 collaboration with Chelsea Wolfe & more did fill the void) there’s been no shortage of material accrued for the album. A post shared by the band’s drummer Ben Koller this past December revealed 27 songs were in the works. It does however remain to be seen which will make the cut for this tenth full-length outing.
