This past July saw revered metalcore outfit Converge enter the studio with their very own Kurt Ballou behind the boards to hammer out new songs for their long-awaited follow-up to 2017’s “The Dusk In Us“.
Yesterday (December 09th) found the band’s drummer Ben Koller share an update on where they currently sit with the progress for that effort, while also making clear that they have no shortage of new songs to pick from. He stated:
“We have 27 @converge songs, 10 of them we consider “done.” All leftover riffs will be auctioned off. We will tell you what they sound like e.g. “Philly mosh” or “Melvins Stoner Doom” but you can’t hear them. Kinda like a foreclosure where they don’t let you see inside the house”
