Metalcore/alternative rock outfit The Armed opened a speaking engagement for Vermont senator Bernie Sanders yesterday, March 08th. The 83-year-old politician is out hosting a series of rallies in which he cautions the potential dangers he feels the United States currently faces with the current Trump administration and what he claims is a shift towards oligarchic tendencies.
The Armed were an inspired choice to open that event, which was held at Lincoln High School in Warren, MI and reportedly drew thousands of attendees. The setlist for the event, which was billed as ‘Fighting Oligarchy: Where We Go From Here with Bernie Sanders in Warren’, ran as follows:
