Nü-metal outfit Flaw have issued a statement regarding their departure from the ‘Nu Metal Revival Tour‘. That bill finds Josey Scott of Saliva fame with top billing, while (hed)p.e. and Adema round out the main bill. Select dates find CORE and Makes My Blood Dance opening.

Contrary to rumors circulating of unsettling behavior involving Flaw frontman Chris Volz, Flaw issued a statement tonight, March 03rd, claiming their absence is a result of losing a drummer ahead of the trek. The band stated:

“Hey Flaw Family. In the effort of transparency, we wanted to give you an update on our status. As most of you know, a week before this last tour we lost our drummer and tried everything in our power to fill the spot and save the run. Unfortunately, with zero rehearsal time it just wasn’t the way it should be… We have spoken with our record label and decided the best course of action is to head home and focus all our efforts on finishing our upcoming new album. The decision did not come lightly.

We realize that trying to force people we don’t know into fill-in spots with no rehearsals is just not fair to anyone, especially our fans who deserve only the best. We are suspending all future touring until after our new album is finished and released. (This summer) Volz, Wepfer, and Marple will continue to complete this album that is already 20 songs strong, 12 of which will make the finished record. We regret having to cut the tour short, but it was a decision that had to be made.

The NuMetal Tour is still continuing on with all scheduled shows so please go out and support all the other bands! We look forward to seeing all of you again after the album is released, with a solid and rehearsed rhythm section along for the ride! We love you all and appreciate the many decades of continued support! #flawfamilyforever”
