Legendary Australian hard rockers AC/DC have now officially announced their previously rumored North American tour. As with this year’s European/UK trek, the beloved outfit have once again recruited platinum-certified hard rockers The Pretty Reckless to open this latest leg of their ‘PWR Up Tour‘.
In addition to that overseas tour this year, AC/DC also partook in a gold-colored vinyl reissue campaign of their catalog in honor of the band’s 50th anniversary. They also notched up a wholly impressive sales accolade, with their 1980 opus “Back In Black” going 27x multi-platinum in the United States. That milestone put the album as the third best-selling album of all-time in the U.S..
Their lineup this time out is once again expected to feature vocalist Brian Johnson, guitarists Angus Young & Stevie Young, plus the more recent additions in bassist Chris Chaney and Matt Laug. Tickets for this trek are scheduled to go on sale this Friday, December 06th at 12:00pm local time.
