Fans of Puscifer and Maynard James Keenan in general have seemingly been given another incentive to visit the online home of his latest base of retail operations. A new Puscifer oversized coffee table book, ‘Puscifer – Posters, Volume 1, 2015 – 2023‘, has been released, compiling the various show posters that were commissioned for Puscifer‘s touring from throughout 2015-2023.
Frank Kozik, Zoltron, Emek, Jermaine Rogers, Jimm Mazza and more provided the art for those posters, with the book featuring a foreword penned by Keenan. The latter also is offering the book in both signed and unsigned options, with the addition of his autograph ramping up the price from the standard $95 to $195.
As it stands at the moment, the book is only available via the digital storefront for Keenan and his wife Jennifer‘s latest business venture, The Queen B Vinyl Cafe. You can pick up a copy directly via queenbvinylcafe.com.
The physical location of The Queen B Vinyl Cafe is newly based in Cottonwood, AZ and houses several of the Keenan‘s brick and mortar businesses under one collective roof. Among them are a record store, a wine bar, a barber shop (‘Barbifer’), a coffee roaster and a ramen house.
This new book is also not the only foray Keenan has been indulging in when it comes to print, having recently been experimenting with prints of his own charcoal sketches — an artistic passion of his which he recently began revisiting after 35 years away.
Puscifer will soon have another raft of show posters to compile, not only with this year’s backlog, but also the forthcoming second leg of their ‘Sessanta‘ tour. Originally staged earlier this year to celebrate Keenan‘s 60th birthday, that run found him pulling double duty fronting A Perfect Circle and Puscifer, with Primus also jumping into the mix.
Rather than a standard touring package, that trek finds the three aforementioned bands intermingling and swapping members in and out on a song by song basis during each other’s performances. Keenan will be 61 by the time that new leg rolls out in April, hitting the following cities:
