Falling In Reverse's Ronnie Radke Slams "Entitled", "Spoiled" & "Parasocial" Fans For Their Reaction To Show Cancelations

Falling In Reverse vocalist Ronnie Radke had a heated reply this week for a fan asking for an explanation for one of the latest show cancellations on the band’s ongoing European tour. Earlier this month, the multi-platinum alternative metal band spiked three dates of that trek, citing ‘production related logistical issues’.

In a more recent post on social media, the group also announced the cancelation of their show last night (November 26th) in Vienna, Austria, and their planned November 28th show in Prague, Czech Republic. The group briefly said of these latest cancelations in a statement: “Due to unforeseen circumstances, we have made the difficult decision to cancel the following shows.”

Falling In Reverse show cancelations have become somewhat commonplace over the past few years, as the group have leveled up to larger venues and more demanding touring commitments. One such cancelation back in 2022 was perhaps their most infamous however, with the band dropping off a festival due to not having their laptops.

Radke explained at the time that various audio elements of their live show in the form of additional tracks were housed on those laptops, and as such, were crucial to their live shows. That decision to cancel however led to some long-standing beefs with fellow musicians and more, who argued that band performances should be entirely live.

Suffice to say, the practice of Falling In Reverse canceling shows has essentially become a meme among the band’s fanbase. However, during some time spent streaming and playing games yesterday, November 26th, Radke was asked by a fan in the chat why the Vienna show was canceled.

Radke delivered a rather pointed reply, which has received some blowback from the band’s fan community. Radke‘s response on that can be read below [transcribed by theprp.com]:

“‘Why did you cancel the show in Vienna?’

Listen, you guys never understand what it’s like touring across the country, exhausted and tired. We didn’t cancel the show. Shut the f*ck up Wednesday. You can f*cking get the f*ck out of my stream. Shame on you for coming to my stream. You don’t know why. You guys are just f*cking fans. You don’t understand anything to do with it. You don’t understand why shows get canceled. Get fhe f*ck out of here, you f*cking c*nt. f*ck you. Ban this bitch. I will. I’ll just ban her.

People don’t understand. You guys just get f*cking mad because you’re not you can’t see your favorite singer. You don’t understand what f*cking venues do. There’s a whole f*cking laundry list of things, of reasons why shows get canceled, guys. It’s not like ‘I don’t feel so good.’

Or even, even then. If someone doesn’t feel good, you guys still f*cking berate us. When somebody’s sick and they have to cancel, you guys still f*cking berate everyone. So go, f*ck yourself. f*ck you. I f*cking hate fans like that. You’re not a f*cking fan. You’re entitled, spoiled little f*cking brat. Go, f*ck off. f*ck you.

I’m dead serious. I can’t stand that. ‘Wah, wah, we didn’t get to go see our favorite singer perform.’ You have no idea how this shit f*cking works. You think people just cancel shows to cancel? Yeah, some people do. You know some people do do that. Who cares?

Okay, it’s f*cking… it doesn’t… We don’t, you don’t need an explanation on why we canceled the show. Just know that it’s probably for a f*cking important reason. So go f*ck off anyway.

Welcome to the stream, guys, with your f*cking parasocial relationships, thinking that you have any sort of true connection to f*cking, to, to the person, you know, the band member.

‘You owe us an explanation.’ I don’t owe you sh*t. You understand. if a show gets canceled, know it’s for an important reason. You don’t understand. There’s safety things, there’s there’s reasons for… there’s people’s personal health, there’s safety issues that happen.

There’s literally so many laundry list of things that are potentially at play here. It’s not just, you know what? ‘I don’t want to play Vienna. Cancel it.’ f*ck these people. That’s not how this works. You understand?

“Wah! I didn’t get to see my f*cking favorite band play!’ You know what I mean? Like, that’s that’s how you sound. You just make the band members not like you. You understand? So stop being a spoiled little brat and f*cking [ya] gotta suck it up anyway. You guys don’t understand. You just don’t get it.

You know what? Rest of the tour is canceled. I don’t feel like playing. This isn’t… I’m not Playboy Cardi, okay? We don’t… Not Axl Rose, we’re not doing that. You understand. There’s reasons. We have reasons to believe that Vienna fans are soft as shit. That’s the reason why we’re not playing. Just kidding. Anyway, I’m just kidding. I’m just joking about that.

But hey, shows get canceled, man. Motherf*cker, Bad Omens canceled an entire Europe tour because his mental health. I don’t see any you guys f*cking getting mad at him. You understand? Go eat a f*cking Vienna sausage and shut the f*ck up.”
