The Dillinger Escape Plan took to the stage for an intimate surprise show this past weekend. As a bonus for ticketholders of their November 23rd show in Philadelphia, PA, the mathcore greats staged a bit of a throwback set at Flemington DIY in Flemington, NJ a day prior. That venue holds a max capacity of 263, which these days is about as close as you can get to seeing the band in a live setting authentic to their “Calculating Infinity” era.
That setting is especially relevant this year, as the outfit returned to the stage this past June with early vocalist Dimitri Minakakis back to front them. The reconfigured sonic experimentalists have since performed roughly a dozen live sets since, most of which are centered around the 25th anniversary of their aforementioned debut album.
This set was no exception, as it featured the majority of the tracks from that record, albeit out of proper running order. Below you check out fan-filmed footage of the entire Flemington show, which featured the following setlist:
“The Mullet Burden”
“Destro’s Secret”
“The Running Board”
“Sandbox Magician”
“Calculating Infinity”
“Jim Fear”
“Sugar Coated Sour”
“4th Grade Dropout”
“Abe The Cop”
“Variations On A Cocktail Dress”
“Come To Daddy” (Aphex Twin cover)
“Clip The Apex… Accept Instruction”
“43% Burnt”
