Emo rock stars My Chemical Romance seemingly ran into no problems finding participants for their planned 2025 live celebrations of their 4x multi-platinum album “The Black Parade“. That stadium tour was announced last week and within hours, sold out with over 365,000 tickets being purchased. In light of the high demand, the band have now added a second show at the Dodger Stadium In Los Angeles, CA on July 27th.
However, not all facets of the tour were met with glowing acclaim, as fans railed against Ticketmaster and ticket pricing/availability. Thanks to the expected influx of scalpers and controversial dynamic pricing practices in play by the aforementioned ticket retailer, tickets for the trek ranged anywhere from $65 dollars to over $1,000 and higher.
