Foo Fighters Pull Out Of 'Soundside Music Festival'

With the Foo Fighters navigating the fallout from their vocalist/guitarist Dave Grohl‘s public admission of fathering a child outside of his marriage earlier this month, the multi-platinum alternative rockers have withdrawn from this weekend’s ‘Soundside Music Festival‘ in Bridgeport, CT. Jack White and Greta Van Fleet will be replacing the band on the bill.

The Foo Fighters‘ statement on the matter reads as follows:

“FOO FIGHTERS WILL NO LONGER BE APPEARING AT THIS WEEKEND’S SOUNDSIDE MUSIC FESTIVAL. PLEASE CHECK THE FESTIVAL WEBSITE FOR MORE INFORMATION.”

The Foo Fighters have remained off the road since September 06th, four days prior to Grohl‘s aforementioned announcement.
