The newly reunited Linkin Park made their first late night TV appearance, performing as the musical guest on tonight’s (September 17th) episode of ‘The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon‘. The group are ramping up to the November 15th release of their comeback album “From Zero“, and performed that record’s first single “The Emptiness Machine” on the show. Vocalist/guitarist Mike Shinoda also took part in an interview segment.
The nü-metal/alternative rock outfit relaunched their career earlier this month, with Mike Shinoda, bassist/vocalist Dave “Phoenix” Farrell, and turntablist/vocalist, etc. Joe Hahn all returning. While guitarist Brad Delson remains a studio member of the band, Alex Feder has assumed his role in a live capacity. Vocalist Emily Armstrong has taken over the lead vocal role previously held by the late Chester Bennington, and drummer Colin Brittain has replaced Rob Bourdon in this revised lineup.
The group are two shows into their world reunion tour. They’ll next be heading overseas for the following shows:
09/22 Hamburg, GER – Barclays Arena
09/24 London, UK – The O2
09/28 Seoul, SK – Inspire Arena
11/11 Bogota, COL – Coliseo Medplus
