Teen thrash metal band Chained Saint have put out a new single titled “Stronger Than Stone (Blindside)“. The group had Alice In Chains vocalist/guitarist William DuVall produce their forthcoming debut album “Blindside“, due out August 26th on Patriark Records.
In keeping with the spirit of the bands and recordings that influenced it, this record was tracked and mixed to analog tape with no computer involvement. Speaking of this Floridian quartet offered:
“What we wanted with ‘Stronger Than Stone (Blindside)‘ was a good lyric for people to mosh, stagedive, dogpile, and just have a healthy, bonding good time. It’s about the crazy times we’re living in and it’s about our band, like many others, having to rebuild itself after being blindsided having to face some adversity early on.”
All of the band’s lineup currently are currently under the age of 20, with drummer Cameron Cottrell being the oldest at 19, while guitarist Ethan Kahn is the youngest at 17. Both vocalist Sean Sterling and bassist Sebastian De Avila are 18.
