Elder‘s 2023 session at Maida Vale Studios for the BBC Radio 1‘s ‘Rock Show With Daniel P Carter‘ will be getting a vinyl and CD release on August 30th through Stickman Records. The progressive stoner metal band performed three tracks at that aforementioned studio in London, England on August 16th of last year.

The setlist included “Merged In Dreams – Nu Plus Ultra“, “Lore” and “Thousand Hands“. The featured performance of the latter track is currently streaming below, with pre-orders for this outing available through stickman-records.com.

The band themselves commented:

“Last year while on tour in Europe, we had the fortune to be invited by the BBC Radio 1 Rock Show (thanks Daniel Carter!) to record a live session at the legendary BBC Maida Vale Studios. We recorded a few tracks from the live set we had been playing at that time and were very happy with the results – a very ‘live’ sounding version of the tracks, which can be sometimes a bit ambitious to pull off live. Most folks missed the radio broadcast, so we figured we’d put it to vinyl and CD as well.

The LP version is available in two colors: tricolor green/black marbled vinyl (limited to 1000 pcs and exclusively available at the Stickman Records webstore) and standard solid red.

The LP comes with a full-size fold out poster and download code!

Thank you to Adam Hill for his beautiful work on the packaging and his futuristic re-imagining of Maida Vale Studios.”
