Aussie Hardcore Heroes SPEED Have A Flute Breakdown In Their New Track “The First Test”


Rising Aussie hardcore outfit SPEED have released “The First Test” as the second single from their upcoming debut album, “ONLY ONE MODE“. A video for the song was filmed by Thomas Elliot, Jack Rudder and the band in Sydney, Australia, you can catch that premiere below.

In a rather uncommon turn in the hardcore scene, the song features a flute break (and a decidedly less uncommon turntable scratch), with the auxiliary wind coming from vocalist Jem Siow. And if you were wondering, they aren’t opting for backing tracks in a live setting, as the below fan-filmed footage shows:
