Onelinedrawing‘s early catalog will be given a vinyl release through Iodine Recordings on May 10th. Jonah Matranga of Far, Gratitude, etc. serves as the nucleus for that project, with this set, “Sketchbook 1999-2001“, also having newly been made available digitally.
Matranga commented of revisiting these early songs:
“The stuff on Sketchbook has aged so beautifully. t’s sad, it’s silly, it’s searching. A lot of it was made in the moment, with whoever was around, without much worrying about it. Looking back, it turns out the most lasting, universal songs and recordings tend to be the most personal ones.”
