AC/DC Announce European/UK Tour & New Touring Bassist


Legendary Australian hard rockers AC/DC have announced the dates for a European/UK headlining run this spring/summer, marking the band’s first full-fledged tour since 2016. 74-year-old bassist/vocalist Cliff Williams will be sitting out the run, with Chris Chaney of Jane’s Addiction, etc. fame having been tapped for the run.

According to the band, Chaney was enlisted to “carry the torch for Cliff.” Back in 2016, Williams his retirement from the group, before later rejoining in 2020. As with the group’s ‘Power Trip‘ performance this past fall, drummer Matt Laug is expected to be behind the drum kit for the run.
