Bring Me The Horizon Part Ways With Jordan Fish

Sheffield, UK-based alternative metal stars Bring Me The Horizon have announced that they have parted ways with their keyboardist/percussionist/producer Jordan Fish. A statement issued by the band on the matter today, December 22nd reads as follows:

Bring Me The Horizon has decided to part ways with Jordan Fish. We want to thank him for the musical journey he took with us and wish him luck with everything in the future. Meanwhile we continue to work on Nex Gen, with brand new music coming very soon. See you on our UK tour in January.”

In a separate statement, Fish offered:

“I’m really grateful for my 11 years with the band, and extremely proud of all that we have achieved together.

I look forward to hearing what they do next, and wish them every success in the future.

I’m excited to start this next period of my career, focusing for the meantime on songwriting and production.”

Questions had been raised over the status of Fish this year, as he remained absent from the band’s more recent live engagements. His disappearance apparently followed an interview in which he indicated he had become increasingly interested in focusing on spending more time with his family.

Fish joined the band in 2012 and has often been seen as one of the driving forces behind the scenes creatively, having co-produced the band’s more recent output alongside vocalist Oliver Sykes.
