Ghost’s Tobias Forge Speaks On The Band’s Upcoming Film Project

While a no-filming policy meant fans weren’t able to partake in the documenting Ghost‘s pair of September live performances at the KIA Forum in Inglewood, CA, the band themselves had the cameras rolling. As it turns out, the platinum-certified Swedish metal outfit weren’t just shooting a live concert film, but rather a feature film of sorts with live elements.

Speaking recently with Metal Hammer, the band’s ringleader Tobias Forge commented:

“We were essentially shooting a film. And we used two nights of crowds as extras…It’s going to be a film with a concert element. So a lot of what you experienced [at the two LA shows] is going to be part of this project.”

When asked if the feature will play out somewhat similarly to Metallica‘s 2013 film ‘Metallica: Through The Never‘, Forge responded, “In the sense that it’s a concert with something else combined.”
