AC/DC‘s headlining appearance at last night’s (October 07th) ‘Power Trip‘ festival in Indio, CA marked a number of firsts for the legendary band. Not only was the show the first time back onstage for the Australian hard rock behemoths since 2016, it was also their first concert with fill-in drummer Matt Laug.
Additionally, several live debuts took place, along with a few live rarities making their way back into the setlist. “Demon Fire” and “Shot In The Dark“, both of which appeared on the band’s latest album “Power Up“, were given their first live airing amid the concert.
“Riff Raff” was given its first performance with Brian Johnson on vocals since 1996. Meanwhile, “Stiff Upper Lip” received its first performance since 2003, and “Dog Eat Dog” was played with Johnson for the first time since 2009.
