Watch: Suicidal Tendencies Vocalist Mike Muir Fell Off The Stage During “You Can’t Bring Me Down”


Mike Muir, vocalist for crossover legends Suicidal Tendencies, experienced a tumble from the stage during the band’s concert last night (September 23rd) in Ontario, CA. In a bitter twist of irony, the fall occurred while the 60-year-old musician was performing the band’s 1990 single, “You Can’t Bring Me Down“. The accident took place amid the group’s show at the Toyota Arena with Danzig, Behemoth and more.

After quickly being helped back up to the stage, Muir finished out the song and completed the group’s 9-song set. As you can see in the below videos, he later addressed his fall during the tail end of the song, remarking how his fall and getting back up from it lent itself to the the song’s message.

Last summer saw an similarly ironic incident take place, when Mudvayne singer Chad Gray took a fall from the stage while performing “Not Falling live in Tampa, FL.
