Having first teased the song close to a year ago, emo rapper Trippie Redd recently released a new single titled “Last Days“. That song employs a sample of the track “Sextape” from Deftones‘s 2010 studio album “Diamond Eyes“. “Last Days” is part of the diamond-certified rapper’s newly released studio album, “A Love Letter To You 5“.
The sample is admittedly a bit low-key and pitch shifted, but the vocals of Deftones frontman/guitarist Chino Moreno can be heard looping throughout the track. This isn’t the first time to the two parties have crossed paths, as Moreno previously guested on Trippie Redd‘s 2021 “GERONIMO“.
That song also featured Blink-182 drummer Travis Barker and appeared on a deluxe edition of Redd‘s “Neon Shark vs Pegasus“.
