Swollen Teeth recently got a jumpstart to their career thanks to the praise and involvement of Slipknot‘s high-flying DJ Sid Wilson, and influential nü-metal producer, etc. Ross Robinson (Slipknot, Korn). Upon the recent release of their eponymous track, Wilson, who produced the band’s forthcoming debut EP, proclaimed the outfit as being “trü-metal”. Robinson himself also shared praise for the outfit, stating that the group remind him of his time spent with Slipknot in the late 90s/early 2000s.
The song “Car Crash” is the next single to premiere ahead of that forthcoming EP, with the band stating of it, “All cylinders are firing. Safe travels and ask yourself: which one of us is next?” Their self-titled EP will emerge on April 26th via Blowed Out Records, a new label venture between producer Ross Robinson (Korn, Slipknot), Ghostemane and SideOneDummy Records co-founder Bill Armstrong.
Speculation of Wilson being a member of the secretive group has emerged since the band made headlines this past January, but those rumors have neither been confirmed nor denied.
