Dave Lombardo (Testament, Suicidal Tendencies, ex-Slayer, etc.) and his wife Paula have found a new label home for their project Venamoris. The couple have signed with Three One G, who are headed up by Dave‘s Dead Cross bandmate Justin Pearson.
Dave handles the drumming and production duties in this project, while Paula has taken on the vocals and piano. Dave commented:
“Several months after meeting Paula in 2010, she hesitantly shared with me her past decade-long career as the lead back up singer for Wayne Newton. She later played me some of the demos she recorded throughout the years and I was floored by her sonically soothing, rich tone and natural, instinctive ability to harmonize. I was determined to persuade her to return to her creative self. It’s been a deeply gratifying journey witnessing this music come to life.”
Amid the holidays, the aforementioned pair debuted a new song they wrote together titled “The Gift“. Their debut album “Drown In Emotion” will be out on February 10th with pre-orders available here.
