Chimaira Announce “The Impossibility Of Reason” 20th Anniversary Reunion Shows

Early New Wave of American Heavy Metal favorites Chimaira have announced their first live shows since 2017. The Ohio natives will be bringing the majority of their classic era lineup for back-to-back shows at The Agora in Cleveland, OH.

Those concerts will take place on Friday, May 12th and Saturday, May 13th, and will find the band celebrating the 20th anniversary of their 2003 sophomore album “The Impossibility Of Reason“.

As was the case with their previous live reunion, vocalist Mark Hunter, guitarist Rob Arnold, guitarist Matt DeVries, bassist Jim LaMarca and keyboardist/programmer, etc. Chris Spicuzza will be back onstage together for this pair of concerts. Drummer Austin D’Amond (ex-DevilDriver, etc.), who previously played with the group from 2011 until their 2014 breakup, will round out the lineup, having also sat behind the drum kit for the group’s 2017 reunion.

Openers for each show will vary, with veteran Cleveland, OH metal bands Integrity and Ringworm among them. Here’s the schedule:
