Yesterday (October 07th) saw the platinum-certified Falling In Reverse and their vocalist Ronnie Radke mock the recent drama surrounding the band and their usage of backing tracks. To catch you up, Falling In Reverse made a stir when they cancelled their performance at last month’s ‘WIIL Rock Fest‘ at the Lake County Fairgrounds in Grayslake, IL after being unable to find their laptops.
Like many other artists, Falling In Reverse are known to use backing tracks to compliment their live performance, with Radke stating at the time, “…As a band in 2022, you need your laptops. It’s like driving a car without an engine.”
The band’s decision to scrap their appearance didn’t sit well with some of the old guard from the metal and hard rock scenes however, with a war of words erupting online between members of the band and SiriusXM host Eddie Trunk and ex-Skid Row frontman Sebastian Bach.
While you can see the majority of that heated back and forth here, there were a few flareups since, including the below exchange of sorts:
.@EddieTrunk man can you stop? you’ve never listened to us, you don’t understand, you’re also disrespecting a lot of bands. If you saw my DM’s it’d break your heart I promise. pic.twitter.com/shlYViSfmc

.@EddieTrunk I don’t do many interviews but I will go on your podcast to explain why and how wrong you are.

Taking to the stage last night for the first time since the aforementioned scrapped show, Radke and his bandmates made light of the situation during their set at this year’s ‘Aftershock Festival‘ in Sacramento, CA. In the below footage, you can watch the band pretend that their laptops went down, leaving them to perform the synth backing tracks acapella.
Tracks went down so we had to sing the 9 rap synths at once like.. a real rock band would do pic.twitter.com/tO87mfH80V
