Veil Of Maya Mixing New Album

If you’re wondering where Veil Of Maya are with their seventh studio album, you’re in for some good news. The technically inclined metalcore outfit have already completed tracking the effort and have recently begun mixing it.

Several standalone singles have emerged from the band in the years since the release of their  current album, 2017, 2017’s “False Idol“. The most recent of them was “Synthwave Vegan“, which they premiered this past April.

If you’re curious as to why it has taken the band so long to put out a follow-up to “False Idol“,  There’s a bit of a story to that. The group’s guitarist Marc Okubo revealed back in the fall of 2021 that they scrapped the majority of an album they recorded back in 2019.
