Modern deathcore favorites Lorna Shore have released their new single “Pain Remains I: Dancing Like Flames“. Accompanying the song is a music video for it helmed by director David Brodsky (Revocation, Killswitch Engage).

The track is part of a trilogy that will appear on the band’s forthcoming album “Pain Remains“. That trilogy closes out the record and also consists of the songs, “Pain Remains II: After All I’ve Done, I’ll Disappear” and “Pain Remains III: Sea Of Fire“.

The group collectively spoke of this first entry in the series:

“The Pain Trilogy is a three-part tale focusing on the stages of grief and vulnerability and exemplifying it through a love story. The first song, ‘Pain Remains I: Dancing Like Flames‘ begins with the main character becoming enamored by the person within his dreams. He decides to turn to this reality as a sense of purpose despite knowing that the closer he gets to his goal, the further it seems to drift away.”

The quintet are presently out on the road with Parkway Drive and While She Sleeps in Europe and the UK. Due to injury, the Lorna Shore‘s drummer Austin Archey has been forced to sit out that trek, with their bassist Michael Yager having temporarily taken up residence behind the drum kit.
