Lorna Shore’s Bassist Michael Yager Is Now Handling The Drumming For The Band’s Immediate Live Shows

Lorna Shore opted to look internally for a temporary live replacement for their drummer Austin Archey on their current touring. With Archey sidelined by a herniated disc, the rising deathcore crew’s bassist Michael Yager has since shifted to the drumming duties for the band’s immediate touring. Addressing the matter on social media today, September 11th, the band offered:

“As some of you may know, our drummer Austin has been suffering from a herniated disc in his lower back for quite some time. During the EU festival run last month, it escalated to the point where he was no longer able to play without doing his body further damage. We felt it was best for him to stay at home and focus on his health.

Our bassist Michael Yager has stepped up to take his place behind the kit for the Darker Still Tour.

We appreciate your support in these times.
Thank you”
