Royal Coda Vocalist Kurt Travis’ House Broken Into, Car Stolen And Totaled Amid The Band’s Summer Tour

Royal Coda vocalist Kurt Travis (formerly of Dance Gavin Dance) has experienced a new level of nightmare for a touring artist. Rather than having his gear, belongings or touring vehicle stolen on the road, a group of thieves broke into his home and made off with various items, including gaming consoles, instruments and more, while also stealing his Land Rover and totaling it.

The worst part of the matter is that the theft occurred at his home in Placerville, CA while he was on tour in Toronto, ON, opening for Dance Gavin Dance. Speaking last night and today, Travis offered:

The band themselves issued the following statement for those who’d like to help out:

“Please consider helping our brother Kurt Travis.

Last night he learned his home was broken into, and several of his valuable possessions were stolen.

His car was also stolen. Eventually found crashed & totaled.
