Varials vocalist Mitchell Rogers looks to have taken some not so thinly veiled shots at Kurt Travis (Royal Coda, ex-Dance Gavin Dance, etc.). It would appear that Rogers was part of the road crew for Craig Owens‘ recent headlining run, which also featured Travis, Moxy The Band and more.
That tour was cancelled last month, after Owens‘ crew were involved in a serious van accident, with their vehicle flipping several times.
The injuries sustained by Rogers in that crash left him hospitalized, and forced Varials to miss their shows this month with Crown The Empire.
Across a volley of tweets shared today, July 08th, Rogers unloaded on an unspecified touring mate on that trek, which would appear to be Kurt Travis. You can read his posts below:
Lmfao. Insanely fucking goofy that the band we were just on tour with was mad at us that they couldn’t keep doing the tour without the headliner. Y’all can go fuck yourselves, and I hope I never have to work with your jokal asses again. If I ever see y’all, it’s on.

I literally almost died and pretty much lost my entire business in that accident. I hope your drive home was hell. And for context, and anyone wondering, it wasn’t the opening band! I ain’t gonna say names but shouldn’t be too hard to figure out. What a joke

Maybe if y’all had any draw your agent could have gotten you some last minute shows on the way home. But oh wait, people only wanna come see you when you’re playing songs from the band you’re not in anymore :) sucks too cause I was a fan. Not anymore.

For more context, this was not a tour for Varials. This was for my other business and client that I work with.
