A since-deleted product listing over at France’s Amazon may have spilled some beans today. The listing was for an as-yet unannounced new self-titled album from returning progressive rock outfit The Mars Volta. According to the listing, that effort will arrive on September 16th, featuring the following track listing:

Thus far the band themselves have yet to announce the details for their expected new album, aside from returning earlier this summer with the debut of two new singles, “Blacklight Shine” and “Graveyard Love“. The group’s last studio album “Noctourniquet” was released in 2012.
This fall will find the band out on the road for their comeback tour with Teri Gender Bender opening:
