Ex-Manowar Guitarist Karl Logan Sentenced To 5 And A Half Years For Child Pornography Possession

Karl Logan, former guitarist for power metallers Manowar, has been sentenced to five and a half years in prison for possession of child pornography. The Charlotte Observer report that the 57-year-old was handed down the sentence this past Monday, July 11th.

Logan previously pleaded guilty to two counts of child pornography related possession charges back on July 24th of 2020. He had originally been arrested back in August of 2018 on six counts of third-degree sexual exploitation of a minor, with the aforementioned band firing him shortly after word of his arrest went public.

It was said that the videos Logan was found to be in possession of involved girls between the ages of 4 and 12-years-old engaging in various sexual acts with unidentified men, with signs of apparent physical abuse also present. At present, Logan will remain free until being assigned a prison cell, where he will then be required to self-report to the facility to serve out his sentence.
