After just under a decade of absence, New Jersey metalcore outfit God Forbid are set to return to the stage this year and are also set to return to vinyl. A new pressing of their 2004 album “Gone Forever” has been announced for a June 10th release date through M-Theory Audio. It will arrive on limited-edition splatter vinyl and can be pre-ordered here.

The group’s vocalist Byron Davis commented of this upcoming reissue:

“I think it’s amazing that an album that changed our lives created so long ago gets a fresh new look for today’s world.”

Guitarist Doc Coyle added:

“Although ‘Gone Forever‘ has previously been released on vinyl, the original run was limited and hard-to-find. I am pleased to have God Forbid‘s breakthrough album released properly at a time when vinyl is being embraced by collectors and in conjunction with God Forbid‘s reunion show announcement. This one is for the real GF fans.”

The band’s currently announced reunion show will take place at this year’s ‘Blue Ridge Rock Festival‘, which will take place September 08th-11th at the Virginia International Raceway in Alton, VA.
