Last night (December 15th) saw Detroit rapper Danny Brown take to covering Korn‘s 1999 single “Freak On A Leash” live in its entirety. That track of course originally served as the fifth and final single from the aforementioned pioneering nü-metal band’s 5x multi-platinum 1998 album “Follow The Leader“.
Brown‘s rendition took place as part of the ‘Red Bull SoundClash‘ series of concerts at the Radius in Chicago, IL, with Rico Nasty being his competition at the battle type concerts. As you’ll see in the below fan-filmed footage, Brown was accompanied by a full band for his impassioned take on the track:
