Cave In opened this final month of 2021 with a blitz of East Coast shows that included rare live performances of early material from their acclaimed 1998 debut album “Until Your Heart Stops“. Along with the live debut of “Controlled Mayhem Then Erupts” and the first live performances of tracks like “Ebola“, “Terminal Deity” and more since the late 1990s, the influential metalcore turned space rock/post hardcore veterans also rolled out a brand new track by the name of “Blinded“. Fan-filmed footage of that is available below, with the song expected to appear on the band’s already completed next release.
Cave In will be performing “Until Your Heart Stops” in its entirety this coming weekend at the December 11th stop of the ‘Decibel Magazine Metal & Beer Fest: Los Angeles‘ festival at The Belasco in Los Angeles, CA. Converge will headline the night prior with a 20th anniversary performance of “Jane Doe“. Other performers booked for that event include:
Sacred Reich
Deadguy
Hate Eternal
Repulsion
Ghoul
Night Demon
Early Graves
Crypt Sermon
Ripped To Shreds
ACxDC
Sin City
Spirit World
