Code Orange have found themselves a new drummer amid their current tour. Tallah‘s Max Portnoy has taken over the spot, which was previously being held by Ethan Young in a touring capacity. Max, who has been masked and going by ‘Mud Max‘ on the band’s current tour with Slipknot, Killswitch Engage and Fever 333, is also the son of drumming legend Mike Portnoy (The Winery Dogs, ex-Dream Theater, etc. fame.).
It’s unclear whether or not Max‘s role is permanent going forward, but he does list the band among his credits on his social media, so there’s at least that. Code Orange‘s immediate shows with the aforementioned touring lineup include:
