Stick To Your Guns Premiere New Song “More Of Us Than Them” Featuring A Contribution From Late Architects Guitarist Tom Searle (Updated)

Update: September 23rd, 2021 01:04 PM:

Stick To Your Guns frontman Jesse Barnett has revealed that the band’s newly released single “More Of Us Than Them” features a guitar breakdown part originally written by late Architects guitarist Tom Searle, who submitted it to the band back in 2015, a year ahead of his untimely death to cancer. Barnett commented on how that came to be today, offering the following through his Instagram:

“In 2015, Tom Searle sent me an email that had a breakdown he had written that he thought was “too STYG” to be used for @architects. It hasn’t seen the light of day until yesterday. It already feels awesome finally releasing a song that’s been finished since December 2019 but to have Tom’s hands on this song makes this one of the most special songs on the record and one of the most special STYG songs ever. So give it a spin, turn it up and when you get the the end of the song be sure to thank heavy music genius, Tom fucking Searle, for his contribution. Thank you so much to everyone who has listened. Through the pain, frustration, grief and anger we still dare and still struggle to invent a new world. Thank you Tom, @stygoc @architects @wzrdbld @vitalo88 @end_hits_records & @purenoiserecs.
